For restaurants
People on Us To Share pick where to eat from their friends’ notes, not star ratings. A claimed page lets you keep your details right and share what’s on today with the people who already want to come.
During the beta, pages are set up by hand.
What a claimed page does
A check-mark badge next to your name tells diners the page is run by the restaurant itself.
Set your cuisine, price level, opening hours, phone, menu, website and a “Book a table” link. What you enter replaces Google’s data on your page.
Share the course of the day, a photo, an offer or an event. Diners find your posts on your page, next to what their friends say about you.
Your posts reach people who saved or rated your place, and people nearby in the Around you feed.
Several people can manage one page, as owner or editor, each with their own login.
Who sees your posts
Why it works
Diners on Us To Share choose by what people they know wrote. There are no star ratings and no review counts.
Someone who saved your place has told you they want to come. Your course of the day lands with them.
The Menu and “Book a table” buttons open your own links, so diners go straight to you.
Where it stands
Restaurant pages are new. Here’s what they don’t do yet, so there are no surprises.
